I had a flight from JFK to LAX a few years ago and I arrived 43 minutes before departure, and the kiosk wouldn't let me check in. I had no check-in luggage. The agent wouldn't let me check-in either. Frustrating because we could have easily ran to the gate. Anyway, make SURE you have OLCI! Don't get stranded like I did.
