Citi's fraud detection seems to have a much lower false-positive rate than Chase. I generated my first false alarm last week by using the wrong billing address in an online transaction to a foreign merchant
In the past I haven't used travel notices because I've never had a problem using my Citi cards overseas. If, by adding travel notices, I can help make fraudulent charges stand out more, that is worth it.
