Interesting...I'm flying from AUS to MCI on 12/19. On my aa.com screen, it has eliminated the option to burn two upgrades for the AUS-STL segment...and on the seat selection menu I can see the wide-open business cabin (although I am not allowed to select a seat in it). This time the flight is not full at all.

Any ideas about what is going on here?
