With regards to the lounge capacities: I haven't noticed much difference in the last 4 years - they are very busy at peak times, but I have never been able to not find a seat. Whether it is the 8am rush hour or the 10pm-waiting-for-Europe, it can get very busy at The Wing.
The staff do a great job at both HKIA Lounges - great service. Only reinforces the fact that it is much nicer to be flying out of HKIA several times a month rather than {insert name of USA airport here} regularly.
As already mentioned, The Pier can be a little more comfortable, so i take the opportunity to head down to there when practicable.
One the DYKWIA situation:
There is a thread somewhere (in one of the USA threads) regarding one of the ex-Presidents being very polite to some DYKWIA-flyer when they push infront (can't seem to find it now- am sure someone can though). Urban myth? - no idea, but makes for great reading.
