Husband cannot find anyone to give him a clear answer about a 2nd checked bag. He's heard at least four different things:

1) Only one checked bag allowed on flights within China. No exceptions.

2) You can pay a fee to check a 2nd bag. No one knows how much. Ask after you clear customs and go to re-check the bags. (This seems a bit risky!)

3) You can get Continental to accept 2 bags and ticket them both to Fuzhou, no problem.

4) It depends on how full the flight is. (Also risky)

Also, the layover in Shanghai is 7 hours. How soon can he recheck the bags? He wants to take the mag train.
