Most do now use the M4 bus and taxi lane from Heathrow, following 'encouragement' from the company.
However, if the driver is stopped by the police, it is the driver who gets points on his license and won't (after a couple more offences) be able to drive full stop!
That said, I think only about 4 people have ever been stopped for abusing the Heathrow bus and taxi lane which is why AddLee is using it.
