I checked some last minute flights for quick turnaround SFO-HNL over this past weekend. I found one for $418 ai, SFO-LAX-HNL-SFO where all segments cleared immediately (inside the 100-hour UDU window) that would allow about 12 hours in HNL before the 11 pm redeye back to SFO. An option for some looking to boost the miles and still get a little Waikiki time in. I thought about it since I was going to come up short for my Q2 CR-1s but cancelled a few hours after booking. Others may be more interested.
