The issue isn't that your credit card and ID don't match. It that your ID doesn't match your SPG card/account. So yes, just change the SPG/account to your real name to match your ID. They don't care whose name the credit card is in, as long as it pays the account. My wife pays for my bookings with her card in her name all the time.
