That is correct. In AA.com, just display the seat map for first class on one of those flights and you will see that it will return rows 2-10.

The good news is that even the J cabin is much, much better than HNL-F (37 degree of recline instead of a puny 29 degrees), but of course the F cabin (90 degree recline) is the true winner.

Enjoy while it lasts. Currently, the ugly 763-Hawaii configuration is scheduled to return on the route on 15Dec.
