I know what you mean! Some of my friends and neighbours are always jealous that I get to travel all the time but I don't think they ever think of the disadvantages. Constantly single, no children and a mother nagging for grandchildren and always reminding me of that I'm "not that ugly". I have worked 11 of 15 Christmases, spent 12 of my birthdays, 14 of my mother's birthdays and 12 of my father's birthdays abroad and missed many other events during my 16 years with BA. But, hey. It's part of the job... or the lifestyle!
