In the last 3 weeks 3 long flights. AC asked pax to be ready to board 45 min before departure. I asked dat MLL and they laughed said it was to get pax to the gate so AC was not late pushing back. Booked in J so didnt carte arrived 10 minutes before push back but would be annoyed booking in T+ if I had to wait 20 minutes before boarding.
