I have a feeling that
a) there is a very vocal minority within BASSA who bark a lot but never bite
b) some of what is said is said in anger and the forums act as a kind of pressure valve where anger is vented, and seen in that aspect may in fact be therapeutic for their members
c) the level of professionalism is fairly low amongst the vocal minority
d) this is a two-way street. We don't see or hear much of this but I am pretty sure many things have been said about BASSA and UNITE amongst BA top management. Not in public forums, but between four walls and maybe also in emails to each other. Who knows, if we knew what has been said we might have been just as shocked compared to what some BASSA members are saying.
I also have a question here: Are the vocal minority within the BASSA forums, the ones who seem really extreme mostly men or what is the ratio? I am just curious.
