lufthansa.com only lets you book LH and codeshare flights. The English language version of singaporair.com for European countries seems to default to the UK site, whether you select Italy or Germany:

and it looks like you can only book flights to JFK from FRA online. If you select another European city as the origin you will be asked to contact the local reservation office.
