I can't really answer your question about the redeye flights but I can tell you a good way to find out. If you haven't already done so, download AA's timetable. Then check for scheduled flights between the destinations you are considering. You will be asked to select a begin and end date for the search. Choose a date just before daylight savings time and another after. The list will show all the flights available. Look for duplicate flight numbers. You should have one for pre and one for post daylight savings time. By comparing, you should be able to find the answer to your question.
As for how they handle it when daylight savings time begins....that would be the current situation. So the flights as they stand, are similiar to how they will be when time jumps ahead again.
Does that make sense???

Yes, but I was refering to that one night in April when they are in the air for an "extra hour" when 2 am becomes 3 am for most of us.
P.S. I'm not traveling, I'm just wondering aka too much time on my hands and not enough studying getting done
