I actually wrote it as I went along, but only a year after had a chance to organize it, add the pictures and post it. Both BA and CX are great, but I prefer BA (new seat). Your space feels a little more spacious, I think.

As for the BA strikes, again note that my trip was last summer, before it all started.

Pittsburgh: I spent a year living there, in this second most livable city in the US (population under 400,00 -- don't you just love American superlatives?) Anyway, it really is a great place to live in, and I DO have friends there.

Finally, I found the AA 767 business class product to be very adequate, certainly on par with intra-Europe business class but also comparable to long-haul BC on several European carriers. It's the narrowbodies with their mediocre seats and indifferent service that are uninspiring.
