EVA is definitely better comfort-wise (with Elite) than SQ, even if it is the A380 (only main benefit of SQ Y is better IFE, service (perfect but robotic/unnatural), silent A380). The comfort (legroom etc.) on the SQ A380 is not any better than any of its other aircraft.
