for me it's a no brainer...

I am totally unimpressed with AF offerings except in Y long haul. even though it would be much easier to fly with them, i always choose to go with a M&M or *A partner.

several reasons:
- AF food in C is barely edible
- consistent service in LH, OS or LX
- I'll take M&M over FB
- UA SWU's
- better Z fares.

cons:
- i am adding on average 4 hours to a longhaul trip

the only time I have been using AF lately is when I fly domestically.
