I stayed at the Hotel Pulitzer in Amsterdam early this month and had a horrible time with their internet. I was staying on the first floor and the wireless connection kept dropping out every 10 minutes, and would take about another 5 minutes before I could connect. It looked like there might be a device in the room connected to the phone that provides the wireless connection.

I went to the front desk and explained my problem and they provided me a cat5 cord to connect until they could get someone to my room. No one was ever sent and the internet continued to drop out even when I was connected via cat5 and had my wireless turned off. I have been at 13 hotels in the past month and a half and have not had trouble with any hotel except this one.

I contacted the hotel and got a reply from Denise Delman who explained that since she could not investigate why the connection did not work properly that she could not refund my money, and then went on to state that I should contact her for any future reservation so she can look after and make sure I have a great stay. I was wondering if there was anyone else I could contact. Spending $40+ for two days of internet that never worked makes me very upset!!!!
