Fair questions - it does sound as if I share my life story when checking in, doesn't it?

In the first case, I think the fact that I was literally dripping wet, and then burst into hysterical sobs clued them in. And to be honest, I am unsure who was then more horrified - ME or the poor desk agent.

In the second, I called to change the room from my (preferred) King to a double. They told me they had none available, so I explained why I was asking. The next thing I knew, I was on the receiving end of a call outlining the room change.

I too really struggle asking (remember my PIT Ren anniversary saga thread? ); and I will never ask just for my personal comfort.
