For our daughter's 18th birthday & Senior Trip, we spent 10 nights at Marriott County Hall. In the comment box on the reservation, I wrote a simple note: "K's 18th Birthday!" After 2 long flights from the West Coast and a crazy cab ride thru rush hour traffic, we arrived at the County Hall at 10 am, exhausted and not sure we could check in early. As the lady checking us in was looking for a room that was already cleaned and available, the desk manager walked up behind her to assist and saw the last name on the reservation. She turned to my oldest daughter and said "Happy Birthday, K!" The look on my daughter's face was priceless and will stay in my memory forever. It was a great beginning to an amazing vacation. Our entire time there was awesome; they were extraordarily helpful with directions, tube info, anything we needed. Later in the stay, we returned from sightseeing to a birthday cake and card in our room. Opened our window and let Big Ben chime in her special day at Midnight. Beyond priceless!
