Yes, but you work in Egypt right and you have to remember that 10 pounds in Egypt is around 1 pound in the UK (see xe.com). So in fact you earn the same salary.

Where did I say anything was wrong with a 3rd? Have you got a complex about it or something?

Best to get a 1st or a 3rd in my view. A 2.1 is just boring.

With a 3rd you can confuse the Yanks by saying "class rank: 3rd" or something like that and they will think that you got the third highest mark in the year group. And you would not be lying.
