This tells you how to have your luggage transfered, via train, to your final destination in Switzerland. One word of warning: your luggage may not arrive with you, and after a 5 hour ride, you will most likely want your luggae to change your clothes, etc....

Having gone between Zurich Airport and Zermatt in the past, unless you have more than 3 bags per person, carry them yourself. You only switch trains in Bern and Brig (avoiding Zurich Central Station altogether.)

Back to the main topic, in my experience, I've been able to make gate to Zurich central station in 45 minutes (the train ride is 10-15 minutes). And that's with bags....
