Many places have no S fares going to BKK but they do to SIN and SGN so BKK lowest fare is astronomical by comparison. Problem is with W and V these days you can never be sure of SWUs gonig through and I just hate the nailbiting. I resent paying $500 more and not getting the upgrade with no choice of a no-upgarde S fare. Thoughts?

PS and oh DL have some really good fares. My theory is that no one is going to BKK so UA take the view that they may as well get as much as they can from those who need to go and that lower fares will generate no extra traffic. Maybe they are right.
