Thanks FewMiles, I actually had checked out your site and noticed the discrepancy between the old oneworld chart and the new one. AA's site was not much help so I thought I would turn to those who actually fly AA quite a bit to fill me in.

Of the US airlines, AA looks like the one to go with due to its partnering with oneworld etc. The 50% miles on discount econo does not sit well with most of us on this board and does seem like a let down compared to AC (in that many of us do fly upgraded and get the COS bonus guaranteed) and compared to AC's routes into US where we at least get 100% in discounted Y.
