OK...I now understand the point about no upgrades on non-AA metal codeshares...what about the availability of free award tickets w/i the AA flight numbers on code shares under the AA award redemption schedule, such as 200,000 miles for 2 free F?

Also, do these flights earn Q points?

What about Q points in Qantas' program if booked w/i the AA codeshare?
