Flying out 18 Sept, returning 22 Sept. Had several PU 503s expiring tomorrow that I've never tried to use. Called on M fare for $2660... Landed at Cinci service center and a good service person who confirmed that upgrades on some flights were available... so will fly DTW-JFK-DUB outbound and DUB-ATL-DTW on return.

The initial ATL-DUB flight I asked about had a more than half full biz section, while DUB-ATL return was close to empty.

Spent quite a while on hold while my person talked to another office that had to do something to reissue the first issued M ticket... but he was back in touch regularly and right after we finished along came the confirmation email complete with seat assignments.

Different note... I was the first person with a TSA redress number to enter since a change was made mid-month. Apparently it is not kept in the permanent file any longer but has to be entered each time a reservation is made.

My chap did a nice job and I sent off a "praise" email to Delta from the website.
