Possibly. If IM opens at least 2 seats at 72 hours prior to your departure, you'd both get upgraded.
According to UDUstats.com nobody has failed to upgrade on the route, but keep in mind if an elite is traveling with their family (3+) there's no udu. since you are flying with the spouse you'll probably be good.
