A couple of points -

1) AFAIK, there is no other Starwood in the Napa Valley. Closest is the Sheraton in Petaluma. So if you want to use SPG points, I wonder where else you will stay if you choose not to go back.

2) You could always take the wine and save if for a gift. It would save you the cost of buying a present.

3) I realize everyone has their own criteria but I did want to say I have enjoyed my stays at this hotel and have found all of the staff very friendly and helpful.
