Got a question...

I am Gold in US Airways and Gold (Premier Executive) in United.

Flying on a US flight this friday. I've already been upgraded to First for the flight. Am I able to switch my FF number to set my United one? I much rather get miles on United than US Airways (not much to do with US miles lol)

If I do this at the airport, would I automatically loose my First class upgraded seat? Its a short flight, so First class is insignificant... But just curious what happens. Do i loose the First seat immediately? Wont they see that I have SAME status in United?
