Granted, I am SkyPriority right now, but I don't see myself holding onto Gold status for 2011, so I'll probably drop to Silver... I'll probably keep my SkyClub membership and I'd LOVE to keep the priority security lines...

I really don't see a point in this move by Delta whatsoever. We pay Delta (money or miles) to get this membership... can't ya just give us a break when getting through security?
