I don't think it is the gate lines they are thinking of.

If somenow can no longer use the SkiPri line to jump ahead of the non SP louse then they will tend to leave for the gate earlier.

Thus thinning the SkyClub load.

As to how much, I doubt it is much.

EDIT. Whoops! Can not read too well I guess. My guess on DL's motive certainly makes no sense now.
