Outcome - Gary was Polite /Professional but it came down to it been the customers responsibility. I don't believe anything untoward occurred, just a difference of opinion.

If companys make us use our own credit cards because it's an individuals responsibility for spending money. What happens for stuff like this ! You are taking all the risk on behalf of the company ?

I say get a taxi at least that's a set price you can claim back - will cost the company more though.
