So I booked in K-class. When I go to the seat selection, I see the "available seats." I also see the "preferential seat (fare)" in rows 2-3 as you mentioned. It lets me choose those and save the selection. Does the label "(fare)" mean that I will be charged the additional amount, possibly at checkin?
