I guess that I am in the minority. While the lounge at NAIA T1 is not wonderful in to anyone, it is far better then 80% of the lounges I have had
to use when flying domestic in North America and lets face it, why show up 3 hours early for a flight from MNL? When flying from T3, PAL Express, I have found long walks, and while the floors are nice and shiney, I like the idea of get off the plane and being in my car in less then 30 mins when I land from a long trip to MNL. My biggest problems is the stairs leading with the gate when leaving MNL as that is all there is to get to the plane.
I believe the international gates at T3 are closer to baggage claim than the [sometimes] bus trip + pier gates PAL Express / Cebu Pacific use for their domestic flights - so I'm not sure this will be a big issue.
