Great write-up and comparison. We had a much more favorable experience at Moorea and had to pay something like what ejs did to upgrade to an OWB in Bora Bora. (Award stays at both.) But we liked both properties and absolutely loved the OWBs. (Also, good of you to note in Bora Bora the Aloe Cafe, which isn't a romantic location or a fancy place, but which we liked as well.)

The overall different Moorea experiences aside, one thing I'd quibble with is about the continental breakfast there, which is so extensive that we didn't miss the hot items. And we also loved the outside bar, even if they did charge extra for the french fries. But again, great write-up.
