When we went to Bora Bora and tried to upgrade, our experience with Christian was hardly the same. I was quoted 33,000 xpf per night for an upgrade, which at the time was greater than the spread of pricing from the least expensive room to the most expensive over the water bungalow. When I challenged Christian about the pricing, I was told take it or leave it. To make matters worse when we arrived at the Bora Bora Nui hotel occupency was less than 50%.

Our Honors status was not recognized upon arrival, I had to request our breakfast benefit only to be charged for it later.

We also stayed at the Moorea Hilton where our Honors status was immediately recognized. Our benefits at the hotel were explained in detail and we were upgraded to an Over the water bungalow.

The stays at Moorea and Bora Bora were award stays.
