No, you can not combine AA and AS miles. Also, be aware that if you use your AA miles to book an AS flight you are limited to the "super saver" award category (i.e., 25,000 miles for a RT domestic flight), you can not use AA miles (as far as I know) to book a choice coach or a full flex coach ticket on AS. Finally, your AA miles must be used to book on AS/QX metal, you can not use your AA miles to book an award on a partner airline of AS.
