Sorry, the view is paramount at the Taschenbergpalais, so call them to make sure that you get a Schloss / Semperoper or Zwinger view - state a special occasion. The best rooms are on the side of the main entrance.

The Kurfürstenzimmer (deluxe) rooms face mostly these sides, but they have nice smaller rooms with the view.

May I recommend you Bülow Residenz or Schloss Eckberg for dinner while in Dresden.
