Glad you are having a positive experience even so you are flying in Y. Most people here find LH C to be a national disgrace so it is good to see your perspective. But I guess a lot has to do with LCY as an airport and not just LH.
HON within Europe is "easy", you just need to be in business and fly to your destination via ZRH/BRU/VIE or whatever else gives an international connection to get those precious HON miles.
