I've watched some employees at PHX do this, both in T4 and T2 so not crystal clear who the employer was - at least a T2. Been a while though, since I don't check bags except once in a blue moon to bring home booze. T2 mostly because I pick up family there. Regardless, it is nice to see staff members provide customer service and common sense at the same time.
