Platinum told "Stop Changing Award Ticket"
So I had an itinerary to Europe...
I've changed it three or four times primarily because the original routings were highly undesirable and better flights on *A partners opened up.
When I called to add in a flight that I couldn't before (it wasn't available), I was advised that I (a Platinum) should stop making changes, or the *A partners may cancel the flights.
Is this accurate? If its accurate its highly disturbing.
I have had nothing but excellent service from Continental, so I was a bit surprised at this representative's statement, and as long as its inaccurate, I'm not upset. But wanted to know from you all if it is accurate.
