Nope. You will continue to have Gold status (or higher if you qualify). Flights flown on AAirpass tickets are just like flying Y fare tickets, so you get full qualifying points for those.
It should inlcude Admiral's Club access as well, plus it should include a few free drinks in the coach cabin.
