Yes it's possible.
I had 3 breakfast (2 diamond+1 include on the rate)at irvine, and didn't pay anything.
However, restaurant still charged 1 breakfast on the bill, but I didn't argue, when check out I asked FD to remove the charge. No problem.
That is the practice, it show on your folio and the FD will remove it when check out.
