this thread is in danger of generating a self fulfilling prophecy. there are a lot of us who have this goal including people who have been flying for years .

let's start a thread: "why shouldn't AA change the rules so that lifetime plats will immediately lose their benefits". i am sure we could help AA come up with reasons...
