I've used Priceline about a half dozen times and have become a bit of an expert, especially thanks to PL helper sites. There is nothing worse than getting your bid accepted on your first bid when you have free rebids. You'll always wonder, "Did I bid too much?" "How low could I have gone?" Anyone using Priceline should spend some researching winning bids on HotelDealsRevealed.com before starting their bidding, figure out how many rebids they have for their location / star level, then develop a bidding strategy. I tend to start low and increment bids by around $7 each time and max out about 10% lower than Hotwire prices.
