Well .... it's certainly not quite "right at Circular Quay" ..... and certainly lower floors will know that ...
It is 150 meters from the water so while it is not the Hyatt, it is very close.

I think you mean The Rocks, not Circular Quay. Rocks is indeed a (nice) tourist trap but Circular Quay is still the main commuter ferry terminal and transport hub combined with the typical Opera House and Harbour Bridge views.
I think the strength of the location is that it is within walking distance of both touristy places and places used by Sydneysiders. And Newtown, Surry Hills etc. are a quick taxi ride away.
