I am a little confused, upgrades to suites at the IC Sydney are rare, they simply dont have many, and as an elite you are more likely to get club access, so I am not sure why there is any need to pay for the club, as suites include club access.

As for it being circular quay or not, both hotels are about the same distance from the water, its a very short walk.
