NAN-GRU also I don't see happening?
I think the Fijian's are being a little strange in their remarks too.
BVMS: me too! ek's the only airline who'ld take them up anyway...
What a bizarre point of view! The only UAE carrier that would possibly look at this would be EK.
Agree that DXB-BNE-NAN is probably the best route. AKL-NAN could work, but I think they would only do that if they could get a DXB-AKL direct and I'm not sure whether that would be viable.
BVMS:
it's not surprising that Ek's getting a lot of envious flak from Airline ceo's accross the world. But just look at what staff around the world is doing to "vote with their feet" to join the rush to get a job in Dubai
s Emirates airlines.
Inspite of all the grumbling back and forth, no doubts eventually, Ek's expansion will take off more and more and more.
I hope that 6th freedom rights will become a reality for EK so that RTW with Ek will be possible soon.
I'm hoping that dxb-bne-nan will happen if not dxb-syd-akl-nan (of course why not go from nan-sea? and if you have a dxb-sea direct you have RTW with ek! that'd be awesome indeed!
also ek Jakarta office told me in 2009 that for last 10 years indonesian gov't gave ek the green light to fly CGK-dps, both airports are international airports. qatar airways goes to dps I wonder why ek doesn't do it?
