I'd say that you are more likely to run across an issue because of size, not because of content. Food is allowed. But running a huge tray of food through the x-ray might be just a tad difficult.

I suppose you could ask for a hand search, just make sure that you also ask them to change gloves before they do the search. Oh, and please do not bring it through my checkpoint, I love tiramisu!!
