As for ATL-MEM being mainline and ATL-YYZ not being mainline - it does help that ATL-MEM is a hub-to-hub route for Delta.

For meals, it's been a few years since free international meals were served on all routes. We're talking a 739 mile route here, which doesn't even fall under the meal-in-F guidelines of 900 miles.
